Nithin Sridhar

Nithin Sridhar holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has been writing extensively on social issues, religion, spirituality, philosophy, and ecology. His books include Musings On Hinduism, an overview of Hindu philosophy and society; Samanya Dharma, on the general tenets of ethics in Hindu texts; Isopanishad: An English Commentary, a translation and commentary on one of the prominent Upanishads; and Menstruation Across Cultures: A Historical Perspective, an examination of menstruation notions and practices across world cultures and religions. His most recent work, Chatuh Shloki Manusmriti: An English Commentary (2025), offers a philosophical analysis of the opening verses of Manusmriti, locating the text within the larger Hindu epistemological and theological worldview. He is the Director and Chief Curator of the Center for Moksha Studies (Advaita Academy), dedicated to the dissemination of Advaita Vedanta. Earlier, he served as the Editor of IndiaFacts, a portal on Indian history and culture. He is based in Mysuru, Karnataka.
